The TCDSB Adult Education Program has been providing language instructions to adult learners since 1964. Approximately 15,000 adult learners participate in thier programs in 47 sites each year. They offer a variety of LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada), ESL (English as a Second Language), SLT (Specialized Language Training), ELT (Enhanced Language Training) and LBS (Literacy and Basic Skills) programs full and part time during the day, in the evenings and on weekends

The classes are offered in a variety of settings including leased facilities, libraries, community centres, seniors and subsidized housing units and schools.

Childminding and Nursery services are provided in several sites to children between 31 months and 6 years of age while parents attend the program on site.
